Job Summary:

Arup is seeking a highly experienced Senior BIM Designer (Infrastructure) to lead digital delivery on complex infrastructure projects across the Middle East. This hybrid position will play a strategic role in implementing BIM processes, ensuring ISO 19650 compliance, and coordinating multi-disciplinary models within a Common Data Environment (CDE).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead BIM implementation for large-scale infrastructure projects.

• Ensure project deliverables meet ISO 19650 and Employer’s Information Requirements (EIR).

• Manage federated BIM models and coordinate with internal and external teams.

• Promote collaboration across third-party consultants and stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain BIM documentation, workflows, and standards.

• Conduct BIM coordination meetings, digital design workshops, and lessons learned sessions.

• Stay up to date on advancements in design technology and digital practices.

• Support regional BIM innovation initiatives and quality improvement strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (preferred).

• Strong experience with infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, tunnels, bridges, offshore structures).

• Advanced knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, Plant 3D, Navisworks, Inventor, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.

• Deep understanding of civil and infrastructure modeling and documentation standards.

• Familiarity with ISO 19650 and related digital delivery protocols.

• Excellent English communication skills (minimum B2–C1 level).

• Ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams.
