Job Title: Senior Data Analytics & BI Developer

Job Description:

Al-Futtaim Group, one of the region’s most diversified and innovative conglomerates, is seeking a Senior Data Analytics & BI Developer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. In this role, you will develop cutting-edge analytics solutions by integrating data from multiple sources, both SAP and non-SAP, and transforming them into impactful dashboards and reports. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to drive business decisions through high-quality, actionable insights.

This position is perfect for an experienced data professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong reverse engineering and analytical skills, and is well-versed in cloud technologies and modern BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, and Databricks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product owners, scrum masters, and solution architects to deliver scalable BI solutions.

• Analyze business requirements and design robust data models and visualizations aligned with business goals.

• Develop and deploy reports, dashboards, and workflows using Power BI, Tableau, and Alteryx.

• Conduct reverse engineering to trace insights back to source data systems.

• Ingest, clean, and process data from structured and unstructured sources for real-time analytics.

• Maintain and manage analytics platforms including license and vendor management.

• Ensure data governance, accuracy, and performance in all BI solutions.

• Provide expertise on cloud-based analytics architecture, especially on Microsoft Azure.

• Write and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and transformation.

• Stay updated with industry best practices in data engineering and visualization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics roles.

• Proficient in Power BI, Tableau, and Alteryx.

• Strong skills in SQL and experience with big data platforms and cloud ecosystems (Azure preferred).

• Alteryx and Power BI certifications are mandatory.

• Knowledge of Python or Scala is a plus.

• Certification in Azure Data Engineering or Cloud Fundamentals is an added advantage.

• Strong problem-solving skills, business acumen, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
