Ciena is hiring a Senior Associate – Sales Operations to support the MEA & SUBSEA EMEA Management team in driving growth and expansion across the region. This role involves collaborating cross-functionally on internal and customer-facing projects, contributing to business initiatives, and engaging in sustainability and social responsibility efforts. You will play a key role in strategic projects, sales campaigns, and business performance analysis, with mentorship and coaching opportunities for career development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support business initiatives and priorities for growth in the MEA & SUBSEA EMEA region.

• Contribute innovative ideas and solutions to enhance business performance.

• Collaborate across sales, finance, legal, commercial, and engineering teams on customer-facing projects.

• Take the lead in social responsibility, early career, and sustainability initiatives.

• Analyze metrics and provide insights for business decision-making.

• Assist with sales forecasting and key performance indicators.

• Develop communication materials to support internal communications and strategic meetings.

• Participate in sales training initiatives and bolster Ciena’s brand and customer engagement.

Skills & Experience:

• 2-4 years of experience, preferably in sales or business operations.

• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.

• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).

• Passion for sales and business performance, with the ability to work across different cultures and regions.
