Clyde & Co is seeking a highly experienced Senior Associate (5+ PQE) to join their Corporate team in Dubai. This hybrid, full-time role is ideal for a commercially astute legal professional with a broad background in M&A, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, and general commercial transactions. The successful candidate will contribute to one of the Middle East’s leading corporate legal practices, advising high-profile clients on complex transactions across the MEA region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise multinational clients on a broad spectrum of corporate transactions across the Middle East and Africa

• Conduct legal due diligence and prepare comprehensive due diligence reports

• Draft, review, and advise on commercial agreements and corporate documents

• Collaborate with legal colleagues across specialist areas (employment, property, IT, IP, banking) for complex transactions

• Work on broader commercial law matters as needed

• Ensure project delivery meets firm standards and client expectations

• Support knowledge management by contributing to internal legal precedents and resources

• Actively participate in business development initiatives and client engagement

• Mentor and guide paralegals and junior associates to support team growth and capability

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience in corporate law from a reputable international or top-tier regional firm

• Strong academic background and legal training

• Proven expertise in M&A, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring

• Capable of working both independently and within a team on complex matters

• Supervisory experience with junior staff or paralegals

• Commercial, analytical mindset with a proactive and flexible approach
