This hybrid role is ideal for experienced professionals with deep knowledge of oil and gas markets, especially in seaborne trade flows and freight analytics, who are passionate about transforming data into actionable intelligence and leading strategic analysis in the Middle East region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct cross-barrel market analysis using Vortexa’s proprietary data, creating strategic insights and reports for clients.

• Identify areas for data quality enhancement and transform complex data into valuable insights.

• Represent Vortexa in client meetings, conferences, and industry panels, showcasing thought leadership.

• Collaborate with data, engineering, and product teams to refine analytics tools and propose new features.

• Mentor junior analysts and align local analysis strategy with global goals.

• Support cross-functional initiatives with Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams to drive business growth.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of oil and gas markets, supply/demand fundamentals, and seaborne trade flows.

• Deep expertise in at least one oil segment and familiarity with Middle East market dynamics.

• Proven ability to generate market insights and present findings clearly to clients and at public events.

• Strong data analysis skills; ability to handle large datasets and detect anomalies.

• Experience in Excel and familiarity with tools like SQL, Python, or Power BI is a plus.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a global team environment.
