Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions for our healthcare clients. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records, timely payments, and compliance with internal controls and audit standards.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Prepare and issue customer invoices and periodic statements.

• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up to ensure timely collections.

• Record customer payments and maintain accurate AR ledgers.

• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing and reconciliation issues.

Accounts Payable (AP)

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices accurately and on time.

• Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery documentation.

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

• Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and handle payment inquiries.

General Accounting Duties

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing activities.

• Perform bank reconciliations and support financial reporting processes.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and accounting standards.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

• Prior exposure to healthcare accounting or medical billing is an advantage.

• Practical experience with Zoho accounting software is preferred.

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
