Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Description:

We are hiring a Female Arab Senior Accountant with solid experience in the construction industry to join our finance department in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will manage comprehensive accounting tasks, ensure compliance with financial standards, and provide project cost insights to support strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records including invoices, accounts payable and receivable.

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, cash flow reports, and budgeting forecasts.

• Oversee payroll processing, VAT calculations, and ensure tax compliance.

• Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely supplier payments.

• Track project costs and expenditures, providing profitability analysis and WIP (Work-in-Progress) reporting.

• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and reports.

• Collaborate with project managers to analyze contract costs and financial performance.

• Maintain proper documentation for all construction-related financial transactions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in the construction sector.

• Strong command of accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or ERP systems).

• In-depth understanding of construction accounting principles, project tracking, and cost control.

• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to interpret financial data.

• Excellent accuracy, analytical thinking, and organizational capabilities.

• Fluent in English and Arabic (preferred).
