LNKD is hiring a Senior Accountant to support its growing finance department. This full-time, on-site role in Dubai focuses on ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and strategic alignment with business goals. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Senior Accountant will oversee key aspects of financial operations including general ledger management, financial reporting, VAT compliance, and external audits. The role also offers exposure to innovative technologies like blockchain and involvement with international teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee monthly financial closings and journal entries to ensure timely and accurate reporting

• Perform account reconciliations and detailed financial statement analyses

• Prepare and review VAT returns and ensure regulatory compliance

• Collaborate with external auditors and overseas offices for Annual Financial Statements (AFS)

• Manage banking relationships, trade finance, and working capital requirements

• Apply blockchain knowledge to enhance financial processes and adaptability

• Ensure ERP and accounting systems are used effectively for operational efficiency

Communication and Relationships:

• Internal: Collaborates with all internal departments

• External: Engages with clients, vendors, agencies, and partners

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Certified professional (CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, preferably in financial services or consulting in the UAE

• Prior experience in Big 10 firms is preferred

Skills and Knowledge:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Xero, SAGE, QuickBooks

• Strong knowledge of VAT compliance, ESR reporting, and corporate taxation

• Independent worker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• High standards of confidentiality and ethics
