Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Description:

A well-established private investment company based in DIFC is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the firm’s internal finances and oversee the accounting aspects of diverse investment portfolios including stocks, bonds, and real estate. This position is open exclusively to Indian candidates with a strong background in accounting, finance, and tax compliance within the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all accounting functions for the company and its owner’s investment interests across various asset classes.

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and assist with financial forecasting.

• Oversee budgeting, reconciliations, and financial reporting to support strategic decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations and file accurate tax returns.

• Coordinate and support the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors as needed.

• Maintain and manage financial records, documentation, and data systems in an organized manner.

• Implement and manage office systems for record-keeping, data integrity, and workflow efficiency.

• Carry out other administrative or finance-related tasks as assigned by senior management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• CPA, CA, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in accounting and finance.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE tax laws (including VAT and corporate tax).

• Hands-on experience with accounting software and financial reporting systems.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present financial data clearly.

• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of managing tasks independently with minimal supervision.
