Job Title: Section Head – Release & Deployment

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Section Head of Release & Deployment to lead software release management, CI/CD pipeline optimization, and platform stability within a high-impact enterprise environment. This role requires technical expertise in cloud technologies, automation, and deployment strategies, alongside strong leadership and stakeholder management skills to ensure seamless software delivery aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement release and deployment strategies that align with the organization’s strategic goals, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Design, manage, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to automate and optimize deployments.
• Ensure platform stability, compliance, and availability, implementing frameworks to minimize downtime and mitigate operational risks.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Engage with key stakeholders across development, operations, and business units to align software releases with organizational priorities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing processes and integrating emerging technologies to enhance release and deployment efficiency.
• Manage risk and ensure resilience, proactively addressing challenges to maintain stability while adapting to evolving priorities.

Requirements:

• UAE National opportunity
• 10+ years of experience in release management, CI/CD, and enterprise software deployment.
• Proven strategic leadership in defining and implementing release and deployment strategies.
• Strong technical expertise in CI/CD pipeline design, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, ensuring business alignment and smooth deployments.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, process optimization, and adopting emerging technologies.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage evolving priorities, and maintain platform resilience.
• Strong team leadership skills, with experience in mentoring and managing high-performing teams.
