The British International School Abu Dhabi, part of the globally renowned Nord Anglia Education group, is seeking an experienced and passionate Secondary Inclusion Teacher to join its expanding and highly successful secondary team. The successful candidate will support students with a variety of needs, ensuring they have access to a world-class education and are able to thrive in an inclusive learning environment. You will work closely with colleagues, students, and parents to foster a culture of acceptance, support, and high achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction to support diverse learners within the secondary school.

• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and parents.

• Support class teachers in differentiating instruction and developing inclusive classroom strategies.

• Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records of interventions and outcomes.

• Collaborate with parents, external specialists, and school leadership to maximize student success.

• Contribute to the wider school life including extra-curricular activities and community engagement.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified teacher status with specialization or experience in inclusion/SEND.

• Strong knowledge and experience of the UK National Curriculum; familiarity with international education is an advantage.

• Proven ability to work effectively with students who have a range of learning needs.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, colleagues, and parents.

• Passionate about student well-being and success.

• Open-minded and adaptable to a fast-paced international school environment.

• A collaborative and reflective approach to professional development and school improvement.
