Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Lead to oversee the custom development workstream for a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation program. This role involves leading the development of WRICEF objects, ensuring adherence to clean-core principles, and leveraging modern SAP technologies including SAP BTP extensibility.

You will play a key role in defining technical standards, ensuring code quality, and delivering scalable, high-performance SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of WRICEF objects including reports, workflows, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.

• Define and enforce technical standards for ABAP development, including best practices for S/4HANA.

• Design and develop CDS Views and OData services for modern SAP applications.

• Conduct technical design reviews and code quality governance to ensure high standards.

• Utilize SAP BTP Build for side-by-side extensions and workflow automation.

• Support transport management and deployment readiness activities.

• Collaborate with functional teams, architects, and integration teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Required Skills & Expertise

• 10–12 years of experience in SAP ABAP development and technical leadership roles.

• Strong expertise in ABAP for S/4HANA.

• Hands-on experience with CDS Views and OData services.

• Knowledge of SAP BTP Build and extensibility frameworks.

• Experience managing WRICEF development lifecycle and governance.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
