Sales Manager – Liabilities & Accounts

Emirates NBD is seeking a Sales Manager – Liabilities & Accounts to drive the growth of Retail Banking liability and payroll products. The role focuses on acquiring new-to-bank customers, expanding deposits and CASA balances, and promoting a multi-product sales culture across payroll and retail banking portfolios. The Sales Manager will lead a team, implement sales strategies, achieve business targets, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop market share for all retail liability products and achieve sales, penetration, and cross-sell targets.

  • Grow deposits, CASA balances, and payroll business while managing key corporate relationships.

  • Deliver the annual financial budget in line with approved business plans.

  • Recruit, train, and retain a high-performing sales team, monitoring their performance and motivating them through coaching and incentives.

  • Implement medium-term sales strategies, area-wise acquisition plans, and focused approaches for business sourcing, including free zones, LLCs, and prime organizations.

  • Cross-sell retail banking products including loans, credit cards, overdraft facilities, and Bancassurance.

  • Ensure compliance with Bank policies, including AML, Sanctions, and CTF training requirements.

  • Review new account applications, high-risk accounts, and regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Coordinate with departments to deliver excellent customer service and optimize resource utilization.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in relevant field.

  • Minimum 10 years of diversified experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Client Relationship Management, and Team Leadership in banking.

  • Strong knowledge of banking products, credit policies, and operations.

  • High level of computer literacy and familiarity with sales management systems.

  • Exceptional leadership, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets, developing business, and managing large teams.

  • Proactive, customer-focused, and results-oriented with strong motivational skills.
