Job Title: Sales Manager
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive revenue growth by managing key operational functions, fostering customer relationships, and executing strategic sales initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong background in selling content to media and/or enterprise-level SaaS solutions and is skilled in market analysis, strategic selling, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:
📊 Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Develop and implement a sales strategy and business plan to meet/exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Identify key growth opportunities and execute strategic plans to maximize market potential.
- Consistently achieve revenue targets through client retention, expansion, and new business acquisition.
🤝 Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term business partnerships.
- Engage with key stakeholders, attend client meetings, and assist in closing deals.
- Lead final contract negotiations, client presentations, and proposal development.
- Ensure a positive post-sales experience, driving repeat business and value realization.
📈 Forecasting & Market Analysis
- Manage and support budget planning, sales forecasting, and pipeline management.
- Provide market development analysis, competitor insights, and opportunity assessments to drive business improvements.
- Deliver accurate revenue forecasts that align with budgetary and growth objectives.
📑 Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with marketing teams to develop compelling content, pitch decks, and sales collateral.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM to track sales performance and customer interactions.
- Ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and product teams to optimize customer engagement strategies.
Skills & Qualifications:
✅ Experience & Industry Knowledge
- 5+ years’ experience in selling content to media and/or enterprise-level SaaS solutions.
- Strong negotiation and strategic selling skills with a focus on closing high-value deals.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and lean-operating environment.
💡 Technical & Analytical Skills
- Ability to provide market development analysis, competitor insights, and improvement recommendations.
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and other sales management tools.
🗣 Communication & Relationship Management
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ability to engage with stakeholders, build trust, and present compelling value propositions.
✈ Travel Requirement
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time for client meetings and business engagements.
