Synthon, a global leader in the development of complex generic pharmaceutical products, is seeking a Sales Development Manager to manage business development and market expansion across the CIS and African regions. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, a strong network in the region, and proven success in market expansion and sales optimization.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop financial targets for geographic expansion and market share growth within the assigned regions (CIS, Africa).

Establish new out-licensing deals to expand market presence for Synthon’s product portfolio.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, discussing commercial terms and forecasting products.
-
Manage the product life cycle, building strategies to optimize sales and margins.
-
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (operations, commercial teams) to ensure execution of plans.

Prospect clients for license opportunities and provide market intelligence.

Travel to regions, client headquarters, trade fairs, and other events to prospect and market Synthon’s offerings.
Skills & Experience Required:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing or Life Sciences.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in a commercial position in the pharmaceutical industry or related field. Proven track record in market/client expansion.

Skills: Strong understanding of P&L impacts, forecasting, and pricing. Experience in Operations & Regulatory Affairs.

Network: Extensive existing network in the CIS and Africa regions.

Languages: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
