Securitas is hiring a Safety Officer to oversee and implement critical safety operations at multiple Utah-based facilities. This role emphasizes emergency medical response, safety inspections, and employee training, making it ideal for former military, law enforcement, or certified EMT professionals with strong situational awareness and communication skills.
📌 Core Responsibilities:
✅ Operations & Training

Assist in special event safety operations

Ensure team compliance with OSHA and company policies

Oversee monthly training sessions and safety briefings
-
Provide hands-on training in CPR, First Aid, and AED use
🚨 Emergency Response
-
Respond to fires, evacuations, injuries, and medical incidents
-
Lead quarterly Emergency Response Team (ERT) drills
-
Travel quarterly to Western U.S. sites for training and inspections
🔍 Safety Audits & Documentation

Conduct AED, fire extinguisher, and general safety inspections
-
Complete medical incident and safety reports
-
Support ergonomic assessments and workplace safety evaluations
🗃️ Administrative Support

Track certifications, ERT rosters, and supply inventory
-
Assist with client reporting and compliance documentation
🎓 Qualifications:
Required
-
Minimum age 18
-
High School diploma or GED
-
Current NREMT certification
-
Strong independence, communication, and task management skills
Preferred

Certified CPR/First Aid/AED instructor

Background in corporate security or safety management
-
Experience with emergency training coordination
