Job Summary:
The Safety Officer is responsible for supervising and coordinating all Health & Safety (H&S) activities within the facility. This role ensures compliance with safety standards, promotes a strong safety culture, and mitigates workplace risks to protect employees and operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate H&S matters across the facility

Prepare and maintain H&S checklists

Ensure all workers wear proper PPE and follow safety protocols

Conduct daily facility inspections to identify hazards and abnormal conditions
-
Maintain discipline, monitor high-risk activities, and coordinate with supervisors and management
-
Record and report incidents, accidents, and near misses
-
Conduct periodic H&S training, safety awareness sessions, and safety induction for new staff

Maintain and inspect safety equipment, first aid kits, and emergency exit routes

Participate in and lead emergency evacuation drills

Implement waste management and workplace hygiene systems

Perform additional tasks assigned by the Department Head
Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
-
NEBOSH / IOSH certified
-
Energetic, proactive, and physically fit
-
Strong observation skills and attention to detail

Excellent people management, communication, and presentation skills
-
Proficiency in MS Office
-
Ability to enforce discipline and uphold the safety culture within the organization

Team-player with dedication to continuous improvement
Salary & Benefits:

Monthly Salary: AED 3,500 + Live-out Allowance AED 850 + Food Allowance AED 206
