Job Summary:
Emirates Logistics is hiring a Safety Officer to oversee and implement health and safety standards within their Dubai facility. This is a full-time, on-site role suitable for mid-level professionals with NEBOSH/IOSH certifications. The Safety Officer will be responsible for enforcing safety protocols, conducting inspections, training staff, and maintaining a culture of safety awareness across all operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all Health & Safety (H&S) matters within the facility.

• Conduct regular facility inspections and maintain updated safety checklists.

• Ensure workers are equipped with and wearing appropriate PPE at all times.

• Monitor and enforce break time discipline and general conduct in the facility.

• Identify and report hazards and abnormal conditions inside and around the facility.

• Support in maintaining workplace harmony and discipline in collaboration with supervisors.

• Lead safety training programs, inductions, and awareness campaigns.

• Maintain records of incidents, accidents, safety equipment checks, and drills.

• Oversee the maintenance and replenishment of First Aid kits and provide basic first aid when necessary.

• Lead emergency evacuations and coordinate with designated evacuation teams.

• Ensure emergency exits and high-risk zones are in proper operational condition.

• Monitor and implement housekeeping, waste management, and social hygiene practices.

• Assist with other safety-related tasks as assigned by the department head.

Salary & Benefits:

• Monthly Salary: AED 3,500 + AED 850 (Live Out Allowance) + AED 206.25 (Food Allowance)

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree

• NEBOSH / IOSH certification is mandatory
