Job Summary:
Emirates Logistics is hiring a Safety Officer to oversee and implement health and safety standards within their Dubai facility. This is a full-time, on-site role suitable for mid-level professionals with NEBOSH/IOSH certifications. The Safety Officer will be responsible for enforcing safety protocols, conducting inspections, training staff, and maintaining a culture of safety awareness across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate all Health & Safety (H&S) matters within the facility.

Conduct regular facility inspections and maintain updated safety checklists.

Ensure workers are equipped with and wearing appropriate PPE at all times.

Monitor and enforce break time discipline and general conduct in the facility.

Identify and report hazards and abnormal conditions inside and around the facility.
-
Support in maintaining workplace harmony and discipline in collaboration with supervisors.

Lead safety training programs, inductions, and awareness campaigns.

Maintain records of incidents, accidents, safety equipment checks, and drills.

Oversee the maintenance and replenishment of First Aid kits and provide basic first aid when necessary.

Lead emergency evacuations and coordinate with designated evacuation teams.

Ensure emergency exits and high-risk zones are in proper operational condition.

Monitor and implement housekeeping, waste management, and social hygiene practices.
-
Assist with other safety-related tasks as assigned by the department head.
Salary & Benefits:

Monthly Salary: AED 3,500 + AED 850 (Live Out Allowance) + AED 206.25 (Food Allowance)

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree
-
NEBOSH / IOSH certification is mandatory
