Position Overview
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Safety Officer to oversee health and safety operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing safety protocols, conducting regular inspections, managing safety equipment, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards to protect employees and assets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all Health & Safety (H&S) related activities within the facility.

  • Prepare and maintain H&S checklists specific to the facility requirements.

  • Enforce the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) among workers.

  • Monitor timeliness and discipline during work and break times.

  • Conduct daily facility rounds to identify hazards and abnormalities, coordinating with supervisors to resolve issues.

  • Maintain discipline and harmony in coordination with supervisors and management.

  • Report any cases of indiscipline, disruptive behavior, or dishonest conduct to management.

  • Assist in organizing periodic H&S training and safety awareness sessions, including safety induction for new staff.

  • Record and manage incident and accident reports.

  • Inspect and maintain safety equipment and tools, ensuring timely maintenance and repair.

  • Manage First Aid kits, including stock monitoring and replenishment, and provide First Aid to staff as needed.

  • Lead emergency evacuation drills and coordinate with the evacuation team during emergencies.

  • Ensure emergency exit doors are maintained and accessible at all times.

  • Monitor high-risk activities and enforce proper waste management and housekeeping systems to maintain social hygiene.

  • Perform additional safety-related tasks as assigned by the department head.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.

  • Mid-level work experience in a safety-related role.

  • NEBOSH / IOSH certification is required.

  • Energetic with a readiness for physical activities.

  • Strong attention to detail with ability to identify risks and analyze near misses.

  • Excellent people management and discipline handling skills.

  • Self-disciplined with a commitment to promoting a safety culture.

  • Proactive team player dedicated to continuous improvement.

  • Good communication and presentation skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Monthly Salary: AED 3,500 + Live-out allowance AED 850 + Food allowance AED 206.25

  • Benefits include:
