Safety Officer


Emirates Logistics LLC is seeking a Safety Officer to oversee Health & Safety (H&S) operations within its facility. The role involves supervising safety protocols, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will be NEBOSH/IOSH trained, proactive, and committed to upholding a strong safety culture within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all Health & Safety (H&S) matters in the facility.
- Prepare and maintain H&S checklists for compliance.
- Ensure all workers wear proper PPE and follow safety protocols.
- Conduct daily facility rounds to identify hazards and abnormalities.
- Maintain discipline and harmony among employees.
- Conduct periodic H&S training and safety awareness programs.
- Assist in recording incident and accident reports.
- Inspect, maintain, and keep records of safety equipment and tools.
- Oversee First Aid kits, ensuring stock replenishment and availability.
- Lead evacuation drills and emergency response procedures.
- Monitor high-risk activities and implement waste management systems.
Skills Required:
- NEBOSH/IOSH certification.
- Strong attention to detail for risk analysis.
- Excellent people management and discipline handling skills.
- Self-disciplined in upholding safety culture within the organization.
- Proactive and team-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
