Position Summary

As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and overall guest experience within guest rooms and assigned public areas. You’ll play a key role in delivering the exceptional standards of hospitality that Anantara is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms in accordance with Anantara’s Standard Operating Procedures.

• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the correct handling and use of cleaning chemicals.

• Ensure the timely logging and processing of lost and found items.

• Maintain proper inventory records of linen, uniforms, and other supplies.

• Meet VIP guest expectations and handle special requests, particularly for families with children.

• Report maintenance issues or room damages immediately.

• Remove room service trays and maintain cleanliness in service areas.

• Report any suspicious behavior, “Do Not Disturb” status anomalies, or unusual guest activity to housekeeping management.

• Take care of and properly store all cleaning equipment and tools.

• Prepare room status reports and updates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar housekeeping role within a luxury hotel environment.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering outstanding guest service.

• Must be willing to relocate to a remote area.
