Position Overview:
SEGULA Technologies is hiring a Rolling Stock Technician – Interior Fitting for a 6-month contract in Dubai. The selected candidate will support the Dubai Metro 2020 project, performing retrofit and maintenance tasks on train interiors. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a major transport infrastructure initiative in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform interior retrofit work on rolling stock according to approved work instructions

• Report any deformities or discrepancies to the RSK Engineer and team leader

• Ensure high-quality execution of tasks and compliance with safety and quality standards

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace

• Comply with Alstom’s Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) rules

• Ensure availability of necessary tools, spare parts, and checklists

• Document configuration changes and complete retrofit checklists

Required Knowledge & Skills:

• Understanding of train interior fitting components and principles

• Basic awareness of EHS standards

• Familiarity with general maintenance procedures and use of standard tools (e.g., torque wrench, grease gun)

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the railway, manufacturing, or maintenance industry

• Computer literacy and proficiency in English are desirable
