Keolis.MHI is seeking a Rolling Stock Senior Technician to join their team in Dubai. In this permanent position, you will provide specialist and level 4 & 5 engineering and maintenance services covering the Depot Equipment and On Track Plants for Dubai Metro. This role involves working on various mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems to ensure the efficient operation of the depot equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintenance & Inspections:

  • Assist in carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on depot equipment and on-track plants.

  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform repairs, including technical cleaning and part replacements.

• Test & Diagnostics:

  • Use test instruments to check electromechanical assemblies, replace and install electrical and electronic parts.

  • Perform fault diagnostics and component replacements both onsite and inside the depot.

• Component Repairs & Calibration:

  • Operate metalworking machines and repair hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies.

  • Perform wheel re-profiling annually and carry out train overhauls at defined intervals.

• Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records using a computerized maintenance management system.

  • Report accidents, incidents, and breaches to management and adhere to safety regulations.

• Additional Duties:

  • Perform shift and emergency duties as required.

  • Assist in complex systems or project implementations.

Key Skills:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand complex rolling stock systems.

• Proficient in using and calibrating electrical, electronic, and mechanical test equipment.

• Ability to write technical reports, business correspondence, and prepare method statements.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Knowledge & Experience:

• Required Knowledge:

  • 5+ years of robust working knowledge in maintaining, repairing, and overhauling rolling stock components such as car body, suspension, brakes, and electrical systems.

• Desirable Experience:

  • Prior experience with shunting, driving engineering vehicles, or locomotives is advantageous.

Educational Qualification:

• Vocational trade certificate or diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering discipline, or equivalent.

Additional Information:

• Must have good eyesight and normal color vision.

• Must hold a valid driving license with good driving skills and experience.
