Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Offshore Rigger to support deck operations on client platforms. The Rigger will handle lifting operations in compliance with safety standards and EnerMech procedures, ensuring all activities are carried out effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage vessel lifts and platform operations as directed by Crane Supervisor or Deck Foreman

• Attach/detach loads and select appropriate lifting gear

• Perform Banking/Signalman duties as needed

• Ensure lifting equipment is inspected, certified, and in proper working condition

• Use correct signaling to direct crane movements and maintain load control

• Assess weights, center of gravity, balance, and clearances before lifts

• Do not lift any unverified or unknown weight

• Participate in planning and risk assessment for crane and lifting operations

• Assist in crane and equipment maintenance and inspections

• Carry out pre-use inspection and minor repairs to lifting gear

• Support third-party inspectors during bi-annual re-certification campaigns

• Perform firefighting, standby, and general deck duties as needed

• Maintain proper records and reports related to lifting operations

Requirements

• Must be fluent in reading and writing English

• Minimum qualification: Higher Secondary Certificate or equivalent

• At least 5 years of offshore rigging experience

• Solid understanding of crane capacities and limitations in offshore operations

• Familiar with safety and operational protocols for offshore environments
