Role Overview

We are seeking a commercially driven and analytical Retail Merchandiser to support product planning, allocation, and replenishment across our retail network. This role focuses on managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, from assortment planning to in-store execution, ensuring optimal stock availability, strong sell-through, and sustained profitability.

The ideal candidate combines market awareness with strong analytical capability and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-store retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and select product assortments based on market trends, seasonality, and regional customer demand

• Analyze sales performance by SKU, category, and store, delivering actionable insights to internal stakeholders

• Manage inventory levels to reduce stock-outs, overstock, and ageing stock

• Support store visual merchandising standards and ensure planogram compliance across all locations

• Assist with pricing analysis, margin control, and profitability monitoring

• Collaborate with Marketing teams on promotional calendars, markdown strategies, and campaign execution

• Monitor sell-through rates and stock ageing, recommending corrective actions when required

• Prepare and present regular performance reports and business review presentations for management

Candidate Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)

• Ability to create clear, impactful PowerPoint presentations for management reviews

• Solid understanding of retail merchandising principles, assortment planning, and inventory management

• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in retail merchandising, planning, or a related commercial role

• Exposure to multi-store or regional retail operations is a strong advantage

• Candidates based in India with a minimum of 2 years’ retail merchandising experience will also be considered
