Retail Manager

Chalhoub Group is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to lead and optimize the commercial and operational performance of a network of fashion retail stores across the GCC. This role is responsible for driving sales, profitability, and exceptional guest experience while ensuring strong alignment between brand strategy, store execution, and back-office functions.

The Retail Manager will act as a key link between headquarters and stores, ensuring brand standards, commercial targets, and operational excellence are consistently delivered across the retail network.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Performance & Brand Execution

• Fully understand brand strategy and ensure effective cascade and execution across the assigned store network

• Drive commercial performance by maximizing sales, profitability, and sell-through across all product lines

• Manage and control discounts and margins to ensure sustainable business profitability

• Agree on and execute the annual sales calendar in collaboration with the Commercial team

• Monitor sales performance, stock levels, and sell-out trends on a regular basis

Stock, Merchandising & Market Intelligence

• Identify potential stock shortages and overstock risks; review orders and coordinate with the Merchandising team

• Analyze sales by category, product line, and store to support informed commercial decisions

• Track market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior

• Provide both quantitative and qualitative insights through regular performance and market reports

Store Operations & P&L Ownership

• Manage and oversee the P&L for the assigned brand or retail network

• Monitor overall brand performance and provide data-driven recommendations to senior management

• Ensure optimal use of organizational resources within approved budgets

• Maintain clear financial visibility and provide timely, accurate updates on business performance

Customer Experience, Marketing & CX

• Partner with Marketing teams to ensure effective implementation of marketing, CRM, and CX initiatives

• Ensure full compliance with brand guidelines while adapting execution to local market requirements

• Support in-store activations, launches, and seasonal campaigns

Leadership, Talent & Performance Management

• Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and retail teams to drive high performance

• Define individual sales targets and monitor performance against KPIs

• Provide regular feedback, coaching, and performance appraisals

• Foster a positive, high-engagement work environment and support knowledge transfer across teams

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Proven experience managing a flagship store or multiple retail stores within fashion or luxury retail

• Strong commercial acumen with hands-on experience managing retail P&L

• Experience working in a multi-store or regional role

• Currently based in the UAE; role requires regular travel across the GCC (UAE, Jordan, Bahrain)

• UAE driving license is an advantage

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into commercial action
