About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead the operations of a high-volume South Indian restaurant in Dubai. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, oversee financial performance, and lead both kitchen and service teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences while maintaining strong cost control and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and service excellence.

• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and customer service.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and municipality regulations.

Team Leadership

• Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of kitchen and front-of-house teams.

• Supervise large teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Foster a positive work culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and performance.

Financial & Business Performance

• Manage full restaurant P&L responsibility.

• Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and operational expenses.

• Prepare budgets, analyze financial reports, and implement cost-control strategies to maximize profitability.

• Drive revenue growth through operational improvements and guest satisfaction initiatives.

Requirements

• South Indian (Malayalam speaker preferred).

• Prior experience working in or managing a South Indian restaurant is essential.

• Proven track record of managing full restaurant P&L with strong cost control expertise.

• Strong leadership experience managing large kitchen and service teams.

• Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume restaurant setting.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
