KOTRA Dubai is seeking a Research Specialist to join its Research Team. This key role supports KOTRA’s mission of assisting Korean companies expanding overseas by providing accurate market insights, professional research reports, and timely responses to business inquiries.

The ideal candidate will have strong research skills, proficiency in Korean, and the ability to analyze and report on UAE market conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research on local UAE market conditions and trends

• Prepare detailed research reports in Korean for internal and external stakeholders

• Respond to inquiries from Korean companies regarding market entry, industry insights, and business opportunities

• Support the Research Team in various projects aligned with KOTRA’s strategic objectives

• Maintain accurate records of research findings and data for reporting purposes

Requirements

Mandatory:

• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field

• Native or near-native proficiency in Korean for report writing

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

• Based in the UAE with a valid work visa

Preferred:

• Proficiency in English for communication and reporting

• Strong web research and analytical skills

• Previous experience in market research, business analysis, or government/public sector research

• Employment Type: Full Time (3-month probation)

• Location: Dubai, UAE

• Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am – 5:30 pm

  • Friday: 8:00 am – 12:30 pm (Lunch break: 12:00 – 1:00 pm)

• Salary: To be discussed based on experience (post-interview)
