Mashreq Corporate & Investment Banking Group is seeking a Relationship Manager – Business Banking to manage a portfolio of Small Enterprise (SE) clients and actively source new business leads. The role focuses on achieving financial and non-financial objectives, building strong client relationships, and cross-selling a range of banking products. This position offers opportunities for growth within the banking sector, requiring strong relationship management skills and a proactive approach to business development.
Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management: Manage existing SE relationships and source new business leads from walk-in clients, ensuring all borrowing and non-borrowing needs are met.

Up-Selling & Cross-Selling: Deep-sell and cross-sell bank products to increase revenue from assigned portfolio.

Customer Onboarding: Seamlessly manage new relationships originated by DS and handle relationships downgraded by the ME team.

Credit Facility Reviews: Conduct annual and periodic credit facility reviews, recommending appropriate credit facilities within the bank’s credit policy.

Portfolio Quality Control: Ensure compliance with KYC, anti-money laundering (AML) procedures, and monitor credit-related issues for early rectification.

Relationship Upgrades: Identify opportunities to upgrade clients from SE to ME category based on needs and profiling.

Sales & Revenue Targets: Achieve assigned financial and non-financial targets while enhancing the bank’s share of wallet with each client.

Customer Service: Provide superior customer service and manage client accounts efficiently.

Team Development: Assist in the professional development of junior team members and enable them to grow into higher responsibilities.
Qualifications and Skills:

Experience: At least 4 years of relevant banking experience in local or international markets, with proven relationship management skills.

Education: MBA/CA or equivalent degree with relevant banking experience.

Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills, advanced knowledge of credit, trade, operating systems, and legal aspects of banking.

Personal Traits: Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a good team player.
Working Conditions:
This role involves on-site work at the bank’s branches and client locations.
