Novonesis is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join their team in Dubai or Istanbul. This position involves responding to inquiries related to plant biosolutions products and their regulatory compliance across the Middle East and Africa. The specialist will play a key role in securing market access for biosolutions by preparing and submitting dossiers for product licensing and regulatory approvals.
Key Responsibilities:

Define regulatory requirements for microbial and microbial-derived products used as fertilizers, biostimulants, and pesticides.

Secure market access for biosolutions by preparing and submitting dossiers, and obtaining relevant licenses and registrations.

Communicate with government agencies about regulatory compliance of products and processes.

Collaborate with trade associations and government agencies to define regulatory pathways.

Ensure products and associated materials comply with legislation in targeted countries.

Respond to customer inquiries regarding product certifications and regulatory status.

Monitor regulatory changes and update internal teams.

Review formulations and labels to ensure regulatory compliance in manufacturing and sales regions.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Proficiency in English; additional languages spoken in Middle East and Africa are a plus.

Basic understanding of regional pesticide and fertilizer laws and regulations.

Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology, chemistry, plant pathology, or a related field.
-
2-4 years of experience in a regulatory role.

Willingness to travel up to 20%.
