MAN Energy Solutions, a global leader in advanced engineering for over 250 years, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager – Power to join its team in the United Arab Emirates. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies for MAN’s engine power plant products within a designated territory. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven business development experience, and the ability to manage client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and lead contract negotiations.
Key Responsibilities:

Promote and sell MAN Energy Solutions’ engine power plant products in the assigned region.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers while identifying and developing new prospects.

Collect and analyze market intelligence and competitor activity for strategic planning.

Plan order intake and manage the sales budget for assigned market segments.

Collaborate with internal tendering and technical departments to ensure timely and accurate proposals.

Use internal software tools to calculate quotations and provide technical sales support.

Identify customer needs and contribute to the development of tailored products and services.

Ensure prompt resolution of customer inquiries and complaints.

Prepare and present product demonstrations, emphasizing key features and value.

Quote prices, delivery timelines, and contract terms in accordance with company policies.

Lead contract negotiations from start to close, ensuring favorable outcomes for both client and company.
Qualifications:

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Power Plant Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

5–10 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in heavy equipment or machine manufacturing.

Strong technical and commercial understanding of the power plant industry.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.

Proficiency in networking and identifying emerging market opportunities.

Knowledge of large diesel engines and power plant construction processes.

Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
-
Business fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is required; German is an advantage.

Willingness to travel internationally for extended periods.
