Regional Sales Manager – Middle East
AMETEK Dubai , UAE

AMETEK is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to support the Controls Southeast (CSI) division, part of the Thermal Process Management business unit in the Process & Analytical Instrumentation division. The role focuses on securing new project opportunities and strengthening relationships with existing clients in the Middle East. This is a client-facing position that involves traveling, engaging in technical presentations, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. The role will also include sales forecasting and meeting quarterly and annual booking goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Discover and secure new project opportunities with clients in the Middle East region.

  • Strengthen relationships with existing clients and identify new project opportunities.

  • Educate engineering firms about CSI’s technologies and collaborate on project specifications.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations to engineering and plant personnel.

  • Collaborate internally with technical services, estimating, project engineering, and production teams to ensure successful project execution.

  • Maintain a sales forecast and update client management software.

  • Travel to client locations and conferences, ensuring efficient travel plans and sales engagement.

  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual booking goals.

  • Identify, train, and manage local sales representatives.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical or System Engineering Degree preferred.

  • 3-5 years of experience in industrial/manufacturing environments (preferred but not required).

  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to effectively manage client relationships and ask open-ended discovery questions.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and client management software.

  • Willingness to travel at least 25% (typically two weeks every two months).
