Regional Manager – Middle East

Coventry University is seeking a Regional Manager – Middle East to drive and manage the recruitment strategy across the Gulf region. The successful candidate will develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies, work closely with various teams within CURA (Coventry University Recruitment & Admissions), and drive growth through agent management, partnership development, and direct recruitment interventions. This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Recruitment Strategy: Lead the recruitment strategy for the Middle East, collaborating with recruitment, conversion, and admissions teams to achieve ambitious growth targets.

  • Agent and Partnership Management: Focus on building strong agent relationships and developing new partnerships to expand the recruitment network.

  • Market Intelligence: Collate market intelligence to support the development of competitive and effective recruitment strategies.

  • Sales Leadership: Lead a sales team to ensure the successful conversion of leads into enrolled students, aiming to meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Stakeholder Management: Advise prospective students, manage key stakeholder relationships, and ensure effective performance across all recruitment channels.

  • Channel Diversification: Drive growth through multiple recruitment channels, including direct recruitment, agent management, and networks in schools, FE, and HE sectors.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Extensive experience in delivering against challenging sales targets in a complex, premium product range, ideally in international student recruitment.

  • Sales and Strategy Development: Proven ability to develop and execute clear recruitment strategies and lead teams to achieve ambitious targets.

  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Middle East recruitment landscape and the ability to navigate market volatility.

  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, ensuring performance goals are met.

  • Relationship Management: Experience in managing stakeholder relationships effectively, with a focus on growth and conversion.

  • Education: Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
