The Regional Industry Manager for IFC’s infrastructure, energy, mining, municipal, and digital (INR) investments in the Middle East, Pakistan, and Afghanistan (MEPA) region will lead business development, transaction processing, and portfolio management. Managing a debt and equity portfolio of approximately $1.3 billion, this position involves overseeing a team of 15 investment staff and collaborating with regional and global teams to drive high-impact projects aligned with IFC’s country strategies. The role requires extensive experience in financing/investing, team leadership, and portfolio supervision.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a high-performing INR team in the MEPA region.

Develop strategy and manage the INR investment activities in the region, aligning with IFC’s goals.

Build relationships with clients, leveraging sector trends to turn leads into profitable transactions.

Manage INR business development efforts, ensuring high client satisfaction and program delivery.

Oversee transaction management and provide investment guidance to teams.

Monitor portfolio profitability, risk, and financial performance, optimizing capital usage.

Collaborate with other regional managers to explore joint ventures and expand IFC’s business.

Ensure compliance with IFC’s financial, environmental, and legal requirements.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.

At least 12 years of experience in financing/investing in infrastructure or related sectors.

Proven leadership and team development experience.

Expertise in managing complex investment transactions and client relationships.
-
Strong portfolio/asset management experience, including supervision and recovery.

Ability to work in a matrix organization, delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
Languages:
