About the Job:

We are looking for a Receptionist to join the team at DoubleTree by Hilton Sharjah. As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service from check-in through check-out. Your role will also involve completing necessary audits and ensuring smooth operations at the reception.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Reception Services: Ensure a seamless reception experience for guests, including check-in and check-out procedures.

  • Guest Queries: Address guest queries promptly and efficiently, ensuring positive outcomes.

  • Feedback Management: Keep the Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors informed of any relevant feedback from guests or other departments.

  • Customer Service Excellence: Maintain a high level of customer service at all times.

  • Training Support: Attend training courses and assist with the training and development of the Night Team.

  • Hotel Knowledge: Demonstrate knowledge of room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and hotel facilities.

  • Up-Selling: Maximize room occupancy through up-selling techniques and promotion of hotel services.

  • Payment Handling: Follow the correct procedures for accepting foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash in accordance with hotel policies.

  • Security & Compliance: Ensure compliance with hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety standards.

  • Brand Standards: Follow company brand standards and assist other departments when necessary.


What We Are Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a customer-focused industry.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Customer Service: A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

  • Language Skills: Arabic speaker is preferred.
