A Quantity Surveyor is needed for a maintenance and renovation projects in Dubai. This role involves cost estimation, budgeting, preparing tender and contract documents, monitoring project progress, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for maintenance and renovation projects as directed.

Evaluate material and labor costs for efficiency, suggesting improvements.

Prepare tender and contract documents, including Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for facilities management projects.

Coordinate with suppliers for the procurement of quality materials and services at competitive prices.

Monitor contracts and ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards.

Track project costs, analyze expenses, and provide regular financial reports on expenditures and forecasts.

Conduct field visits to ensure maintenance and renovation works meet specified standards.

Propose and implement improvement measures in operations.

Report financial and operational risks in facilities management.

Adhere to security policies and procedures and report incidents when encountered.
Required Criteria:

Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
-
At least 5 years of experience in the same field, preferably in the UAE.

Strong knowledge of mathematics, physics, management, economics, and construction-related laws and regulations.
-
Proficient in using cost management and quantity surveying software (e.g., BIM).
-
A valid UAE driving license.
