We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join a high-performing team in Dubai. This role will focus on post-contract cost management for large-scale projects, with a strong emphasis on financial control, contract administration, and stakeholder collaboration.
Role Overview
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all financial and contractual aspects of construction projects, ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, and successful delivery within budget. You will work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to maintain transparency and control across all project stages.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and monitor project budgets, ensuring delivery within approved cost parameters

Prepare and present detailed cost reports to clients and project stakeholders

Oversee procurement processes, including tender documentation and contractor selection

Administer contracts (including FIDIC), manage variations, claims, and dispute resolution

Develop detailed cost estimates covering materials, labour, and construction methodologies

Maintain accurate financial records, including payments, variations, and contractor claims

Evaluate and negotiate project changes, ensuring proper documentation and cost impact analysis

Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies

Support value engineering initiatives to optimize cost without compromising quality

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants
Candidate Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in post-contract cost management within a consultancy environment

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field

Professional certification such as MRICS (or equivalent) is highly desirable

Strong knowledge of contract administration, particularly FIDIC contracts
-
Proven experience managing large-scale construction or landscape projects

Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex project environments
