Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Dubai-based team. The successful candidate will oversee cost management, contract administration, and financial control for large-scale roads and infrastructure projects.
This role requires strong expertise in FIDIC contracts, procurement management, variation control, and financial reporting within major civil construction environments.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and control project budgets, ensuring delivery within approved cost parameters.

Prepare and present detailed cost reports to clients and senior management.

Lead procurement activities including preparation of tender documents, evaluation, and contractor selection.

Administer FIDIC contracts, including variation management, claims review, dispute resolution, and contractual compliance.

Prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, labor, and resource requirements across project phases.

Assess, evaluate, and negotiate variations and change orders, ensuring proper documentation and financial control.

Maintain accurate financial records, including payment certifications, contractor claims, and cost tracking reports.

Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent cost overruns and delays.

Participate in value engineering initiatives to achieve cost efficiencies while maintaining project quality standards.

Act as the primary point of contact for all commercial and contractual matters with clients, contractors, and consultants.
Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying within large-scale construction projects.

Strong experience in roads and infrastructure projects is highly preferred.

Proven expertise in FIDIC contract administration and claims management.

Excellent negotiation, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical and financial management capabilities.
