Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Controller passionate about automotive quality assurance. You will ensure workshop processes meet Volkswagen dealer standards through audits, inspections, and quality management system implementation, guaranteeing vehicles meet the highest quality before delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control

• Document repairs accurately, ensuring correct labour operations, parts usage, and clocking in DMS, PIWIS/PQIS systems

• Coordinate quality control inspections on completed jobs prior to vehicle collection

• Verify technician reports correspond fully to customer complaints and job cards

• Implement random inspections on completed work and work-in-process for damage or quality issues

• Liaise with technicians and foremen to address quality shortfalls and report to management

• Ensure adherence to all quality processes and documentation standards

Internal Audit

• Investigate and report on customer complaints and repeat repairs

• Identify quality trends and training needs, coordinating with training departments

• Submit weekly quality reports to management, including repeat repairs and corrective actions

• Conduct regular warranty self-audits for compliance

• Review after-sales processes periodically to benchmark and improve service quality

• Lead meetings with team leaders to communicate improvement ideas and cost-saving measures

• Compile reports on product failures and liaise with relevant parties regarding product quality

Personal Development

• Stay updated with manufacturer bulletins and technical developments

• Complete manufacturer online training programs regularly

• Participate in annual performance appraisals and maintain a professional development plan

Requirements:

• Certified Automotive Technician

• Experience in UAE or Middle East automotive dealerships

• Proven experience in dealership service quality control

• Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes and quality standards

• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
