PERUSAL PLASTIC RECYCLING is actively hiring a Quality Control Officer to ensure high standards in the production of PET flakes at their recycling facility in Umm Al Quwain. This full-time, on-site role is crucial in supporting sustainable manufacturing by maintaining rigorous quality protocols and enhancing product reliability.

As a Quality Control Officer, you’ll be responsible for inspecting raw materials, monitoring production, testing product batches, and working closely with the production team to address quality concerns. The role demands a meticulous and process-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and test incoming raw PET bottles and final flakes for contamination, moisture, and color
• Ensure compliance with customer and internal specifications
• Accurately log test results and report discrepancies in a timely manner
• Monitor cleanliness and adherence to quality protocols within production zones
• Identify and address quality concerns in collaboration with the production team
• Maintain detailed quality control documentation and implement GMP and ISO guidelines

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality control, preferably in plastic recycling or manufacturing
• Familiarity with contamination detection, PET recycling quality criteria, and testing instruments
• Ability to use lab equipment and deliver clear, accurate reports
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills

• Availability to work 6 days per week based on plant requirements
