About the Role:
As a Quality & Compliance Manager – External Manufacturing, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our third-party manufacturers (External Manufacturing Operations – EMO) meet Reckitt’s stringent quality and regulatory standards. You will be responsible for quality assurance, supplier development, and risk management, working closely with Procurement, R&D, and Operations to maintain and enhance product safety, compliance, and performance.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop cross-functional expertise within Reckitt’s global R&D ecosystem, giving you exposure to multiple disciplines, teams, and environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Quality & Compliance Oversight: Ensure that third-party manufacturing partners comply with Reckitt’s Quality Management System (QMS), regulatory requirements, and global standards to minimize risk to consumers and the company.

Supplier Management & Development: Approve, assess, and develop new and existing external manufacturers, ensuring they meet Reckitt’s quality and compliance expectations.

Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement: Work with Procurement and EMO Operations to resolve quality-related issues and propose improvements for suppliers and contractors.

Risk Assessment & Audits: Conduct site and system audits, applying risk management methodologies such as FMEA, root cause analysis, and process mapping to ensure consistent quality across suppliers.

Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (R&D, Supply Chain, and Procurement) while maintaining independent quality oversight.

Regulatory & Compliance Expertise: Keep up to date with global regulatory legislation and ensure that Reckitt’s third-party manufacturers adhere to compliance requirements.

Process Optimization: Lead supplier improvement plans, implementing best practices in manufacturing operations, quality control, and business processes.
What We’re Looking For:

Education & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Strong background in quality assurance, manufacturing, or regulatory compliance within FMCG, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sectors.

Technical Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with expertise in risk management, process improvement (FMEA, root cause analysis), and auditing.

Deep understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and compliance frameworks.

Knowledge of global regulatory standards in hygiene, health, or nutrition industries.

Soft Skills & Leadership:

Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to influence and lead supplier relationships while maintaining independence.

Highly organized, action-oriented, and confident in managing external manufacturing operations.

Diplomatic and tactful in navigating complex supplier situations.
