Job Title: QHSE Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented QHSE Manager with proven experience in the packaging industry to lead our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards in compliance, quality control, and safety regulations across the facility, while driving continuous improvements in line with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain factory and site compliance with local and international HSE regulations.

• Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) include appropriate PPE and support equipment per safety guidelines.

• Lead and uphold local/international HSE audits and certifications such as ISO 9001, BRC, FSC, and target ISO 14001 by mid-2025.

• Oversee Quality Control Plans (QCP) for all incoming/outgoing goods; review and report updates quarterly.

• Manage non-conformance reports (NCPR) and customer complaints: acknowledge within 2 days and resolve within 5 days.

• Guarantee all manufactured products meet customer specifications, both in performance and appearance.

• Drive a systems-based approach by regularly reviewing and updating all QHSE-related SOPs with relevant departments.

• Implement a weekly internal audit plan focusing on SOPs, Safety Operating Conditions (SOCs), and HSE elements.

• Coordinate with procurement for vendor evaluation, onboarding, and goods rejection processes.

• Inspect packaging for shippable condition and ensure quality checks align with the ANSI sampling plan.

• Analyze daily quality data and report trends and improvements to senior management.

• Maintain up-to-date TDS and MSDS for all materials and ensure legal compliance.

• Lead QHSE training programs for QC and operational staff to instill a culture of safety and excellence.

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by senior management.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in QHSE within the packaging industry (mandatory).

• NEBOSH Certification is required.

• Strong understanding of quality systems, standards implementation, and audit processes.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and team collaboration skills.
