Job Title: QHSE Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced and certified QHSE Manager to lead our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental operations within the packaging industry. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of relevant experience and be NEBOSH certified. This role demands a proactive leader with a deep understanding of quality standards, international HSE compliance, and system implementation.

You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our QHSE frameworks, ensuring the facility, products, and processes meet international and local standards such as ISO9001, BRC, FSC, and more. A strong systems-oriented approach and leadership in audits, training, and complaint resolution are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the site complies with all local and international HSE regulations.

  • Review and maintain SOPs to ensure they include all required PPE and safety equipment.

  • Maintain international HSE certifications and audit standards.

  • Review and update the Quality Control Plan (QCP) quarterly.

  • Monitor all incoming and outgoing materials to ensure quality and compliance.

  • Record, investigate, and respond to internal NCPRs and customer complaints within required timelines.

  • Guarantee that all manufactured products meet customer specifications for performance, aesthetics, and packaging.

  • Lead and update all QHSE-related SOPs, engaging with department heads as needed.

  • Develop and implement a weekly audit plan covering SOPs, SOCs, and HSE.

  • Coordinate with the purchasing team for vendor evaluation and goods rejection handling.

  • Ensure final product packaging is compliant with ANSI sampling plans and ready for shipment.

  • Perform data trend analysis and update management regularly on quality performance.

  • Maintain all certifications including ISO 9001, BRC, FSC, and target ISO 14001 by mid-2025.

  • Keep a complete record of all TDS, MSDS, and legal documentation.

  • Conduct regular QHSE training for both quality control and operations teams.

  • Perform any other task assigned by senior management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality and HSE management, preferably in the packaging industry.

  • NEBOSH Certification is mandatory.

  • In-depth understanding of quality systems, audits, and regulatory compliance.

  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
