Job Summary:
The QHSE Associate will play a critical role in supporting the implementation, monitoring, and continual improvement of Kitopi’s quality, health, safety, and environmental systems across kitchen facilities. The role ensures strict compliance with food safety and health regulations, leads sanitation initiatives, supports audits and inspections, and is instrumental in staff training and emergency preparedness.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with food safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Lead and supervise sanitization activities across the premises.

Investigate and report food quality complaints, coordinating timely resolution with stakeholders.

Coordinate with service providers for appliance and facility maintenance.

Support kitchen expansions and appliance implementations, ensuring compliance with safety and municipal codes.

Prepare detailed reports following audits, inspections, and incident investigations.

Conduct food safety, health & safety trainings, inductions, and emergency preparedness sessions for staff.

Monitor new project compliance with food safety and HSE regulations and assist with risk assessments.

Collaborate with Facilities, Operations, and Business Excellence teams to resolve non-conformities and drive continuous improvement.

Stay updated on all relevant food safety and HSE legislation and support company-wide compliance initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, or related science field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in quality control or food safety, preferably in catering or hospitality.

Mandatory Level 3 HACCP and Food Safety for Catering certification.

NEBOSH IGC / IOSH certifications preferred.

Strong data analysis and report-writing skills.

Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.

Experience with local municipality inspections and food safety audits.
-
UAE or GCC driving license (required for site travel).
