Employment: Full Time | Location: Dubai, UAE

Our multinational interior fit-out and joinery contracting client is looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join their dynamic team in Dubai. The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and quality control on high-profile fit-out and joinery projects in the UAE, ideally working with major main contractors.

Note: This role includes travel across the GCC, as the client manages projects in multiple countries.

📅 Contract: Immediate start, initial 6-month contract through J10 Consulting, with potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Support management teams in achieving and maintaining ISO quality management accreditations.

• Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS), aligning with industry standards and client requirements.

• Implement IMS and quality processes to strengthen quality culture and drive continuous improvement.

• Prepare and support PQI reporting to ensure monthly compliance targets are met.

• Conduct surveillance and monitoring to confirm adherence to processes, procedures, and project specifications, ensuring top-quality construction standards.

• Maintain and verify daily compliance with quality standards across operations.

• Produce clear, accurate quality reports and documentation, including Method Statements, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), MIRs, WIRs, and Project Quality Plans.

• Oversee timely NCR reporting, coordination, and follow-up.

• Lead site-based quality training and toolbox talks, focusing on inspection hold points, best practices, and quality risk awareness.

• Carry out work inspections and material tests as per ITPs to achieve first-time approvals.

• Prepare informative reports and presentations for project stakeholders.

• Undertake additional quality-related duties as required.

Requirements

• Engineering qualification relevant to construction or quality.

• Minimum 5 years of professional QA/QC experience in the fit-out and joinery sector.

• Preferably certified as an ISO 9001:2015 Auditor.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with tools like ACONEX.

• Skilled in drafting and managing quality-related documentation.

• Solid understanding of QA/QC principles across the project lifecycle.

• Ability to document workflows and processes effectively.

• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.

• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Salary

AED 8,000 – 12,000 per month, inclusive of fixed allowances.
