Position Summary:
RELQ TECHNOLOGIES is seeking a highly experienced QA Lead – Accessibility (508c) to join their team remotely from Dubai. This is a 6+ month full-time opportunity, ideal for a seasoned QA professional with deep knowledge of accessibility standards, especially Section 508 and WCAG 2.1/2.2.

As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing all accessibility compliance testing across web and mobile platforms. You will ensure adherence to legal standards, maintain detailed documentation, and mentor the QA team on best practices in accessibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead accessibility QA initiatives for both web and mobile applications.

• Ensure compliance with Section 508c and WCAG 2.1/2.2 accessibility standards.

• Review and approve test plans, test cases, and test results to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Maintain and update VPATs (Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates).

• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to address accessibility issues.

• Conduct manual testing using assistive tools like JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, Axe, WAVE, and Lighthouse.

• Provide accessibility training and guidance to QA teams.

• Continuously improve QA tools, processes, and accessibility test coverage.

• Participate actively in Agile practices, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 12+ years of overall QA experience.

• Minimum 5 years in QA roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.

• Strong understanding of Section 508, WCAG 2.1/2.2, and related compliance standards.

• Proven hands-on experience testing web and mobile platforms for accessibility.

• Experience in developing and managing VPATs and conducting accessibility audits.

• Proficient with accessibility testing tools: Axe, Lighthouse, WAVE, JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and team collaboration skills.

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects across product lines.

Nice to Have:

• ISTQB, CPACC, or WAS certification.

• Experience with test automation tools like Selenium or Cypress.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with test management tools such as Jira and TestRail.
