Energize O&M LLC, a joint venture between Masdar STS and EDF EN Middle East, is seeking a PV Plant Performance Expert to monitor and enhance the performance of its 800MW photovoltaic solar plant at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park. This role involves analyzing KPIs, optimizing equipment efficiency, troubleshooting IT/OT system failures, and ensuring cybersecurity measures to maintain operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
– Monitor and enhance plant performance, identifying areas for improvement.
– Develop, review, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
– Provide timely performance reports to the Technical Manager, Finance Manager, and other stakeholders.
– Optimize equipment performance by analyzing failure rates, efficiency, availability, and reliability.
– Collaborate with the O&M Manager and Technical Manager to implement asset improvement strategies.
– Ensure long-term asset longevity and implement regular performance enhancements.
– Troubleshoot and restore plant IT/OT system failures, escalating issues when necessary.
– Ensure effective cybersecurity measures to protect plant operations and data.
– Develop and implement new methods for performance analysis.
– Provide continuous training to team members on relevant job-related topics.
– Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders to ensure aligned objectives.
– Ensure project contractual deliverables are met, assisting in contract preparation.
Requirements:
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Power, or Electromechanical Engineering.
– Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar role, preferably in renewable energy and PV plants.
– Technical Skills:
– Experience in HV substations.
– Strong knowledge of Electrical DC, LV & MV instrumentation sensors and equipment.
– Expertise in MS, SCADA, database management, and data analysis.
– IT infrastructure troubleshooting experience.
– MS Power BI experience is an advantage.
– Knowledge of remote desktop assistance.
– Other Requirements:
– Valid driver’s license.
– Proficiency in English communication.
– International experience in solar projects.
