About the Role
Egis is looking for an experienced Purchaser to join our Infrastructure Operations & Maintenance team in Dubai. This role is responsible for the end-to-end procurement of Civil and MEP materials, equipment, and subcontracting services, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery in line with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Handle the full procurement cycle for Civil and MEP items, consumables, tools, and subcontracting services.

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors to achieve the best value and maintain quality standards.

Build and update a strong vendor/supplier/subcontractor database across the UAE market.

Prepare, review, and process purchase orders, RFQs, and agreements in compliance with company policies.

Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Project teams to align procurement needs with project demands.

Track supplier performance, resolve issues, and maintain long-term professional relationships.

Implement cost control measures and ensure compliance with procurement laws, company policies, and project timelines.

Monitor market trends, material availability, and pricing in the UAE construction sector.
Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ UAE experience in procurement within Infrastructure, O&M, Civil, or MEP contracting.

Strong supplier, vendor, and subcontractor network in the UAE market.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

Proven skills in negotiation, communication, and vendor management.

Knowledge of UAE procurement laws, practices, and regulations.

Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

Ability to manage multiple procurement tasks under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
