Role Overview
Middle East Executive is hiring a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive for a Chemical Additives Manufacturing Company based in Dubai. The role will manage end-to-end procurement operations, supplier relationships, and inventory planning while ensuring compliance with company policies and audit standards.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on procurement experience within the chemical or paint industry, strong supplier management skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple business functions.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Execution

Manage complete procurement lifecycle including supplier sourcing, RFQs, quotation evaluation, purchase order issuance, and order tracking

Review and validate purchase requisitions and ensure timely execution

Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and audit requirements
Supplier Management

Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key suppliers

Lead supplier onboarding, registrations, price negotiations, and contract renewals

Manage and resolve Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) effectively

Conduct supplier performance reviews and appraisals
Planning & Strategy

Support strategic sourcing initiatives in collaboration with Business Development Managers

Analyze historical demand, inventory levels, forecasts, and market data to support supply planning

Conduct quarterly inventory reviews and recommend reorder points (minimum/maximum levels)
Cross-Functional Coordination

Coordinate closely with Sales, Logistics, Finance, and Business Development teams

Act as the focal point for back-to-back order execution (excluding base oil)

Align procurement activities with business needs to prevent understocking or overstocking
Data, Reporting & Compliance

Maintain accurate procurement records including purchase history, supplier performance, pricing logs, and trackers

Analyze procurement trends, payment status, and supplier metrics

Support preparation of procurement reports, dashboards, and management summaries
Requirements
-
1–5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles

Mandatory experience in a Chemical or Paint manufacturing company

Must be currently based in the UAE

Proven experience handling NCRs and supplier appraisals

Strong analytical, negotiation, and coordination skills

Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
