Tarco, a leading petroleum company based in the Kingdom of Bahrain, renowned for its high-quality petroleum products such as Bitumen (Penetration, Cutback, Emulsion), industrial fuel oils, and Group II base oils, is seeking a dedicated Purchase and Sourcing Specialist for its Dubai office. The company has a strong presence across the GCC and international markets, known for its commitment to quality and client satisfaction.

The Purchase and Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for managing all purchasing processes related to petroleum products, including sourcing reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, evaluating supplier performance, and ensuring timely delivery. The role demands close market trend analysis to maintain cost effectiveness and product quality. The specialist will oversee purchase order handling and supplier relationship management to support Tarco’s ongoing growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end purchasing process and purchase orders

• Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery

• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal cost savings

• Analyze market trends relevant to petroleum products to inform sourcing strategies

• Maintain strong, professional relationships with key suppliers

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure procurement aligns with company goals

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in purchasing processes and purchase order management

• Strong skills in purchase management and analytical thinking

• Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work full-time on-site in Dubai, UAE

• Knowledge of petroleum products and industry standards is preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

• Immediate availability to join is preferred
